We had holiday cookie adventures twice this year. The first time was Lo, Daniel, and myself on a Friday night, and the decorations happened while Daniel was at work the next day.
The second time around, we made Sugar Cookies for Kid Christmas. Both kids did a great job, but I think I paid more attention to how Steven did it, because I get to see Lora's creativity flow every single day and because he isn't always here, seeing his smile and his concentration, and his desire to do things just right... Along with his supreme joy at his own awesomeness fills me with happiness.
